►ENERGY CONSERVATION
a) LED lights installed and ongoing.
b) Building Management system (BMS) in place to manage electricity consumption.
►ENVORENMENTAL MONITORING
a) Yearly indoor monitoring, such as air quality, light (lux) and sound (dB levels) checks.
b) Necessary actions are taken accordingly, in case of any deviations.
►WATER CONSERVATION
a) Sensors installed in hand wash sinks throughout the hotel.
b) Dual flushing systems installed in guest rooms.
► SINGLE-USE PLASTIC ELIMINATION
a) Single-use plastic water bottles have been replaced with “filtered water in a sustainable bottle”
b) Plastic key cards have been replaced with reusable and biodegradable wooden key cards.
c) All single-used plastic amenities have been replaced with bulky and re-usable options.
► WASTE MONITORING AND REDUCTION
a) “NO BIN DAY” in the heartist cafeteria, to monitor and reduce food waste.
b) Winnow system is being used to monitor and reduce food waste from selected restaurants.
c) Recycling of common waste items such as paper, plastic, cardboard, glass, used cooking oil
d) 10% of waste is diverted away from the landfill yearly.
►NET ZERO INITIATIVE
a) Linen and towel re-use program implemented: an initiative to invite guest to participate in our sustainability program
b) “Skip the Clean program” implemented: An initiative to shift from Daily Housekeeping Service to Every-Other-Day or upon guest’s request.
►OTHER INITIATIVE
a) Effective PPM system in place to support sustainability of assets.
